Diversely skilled

About:  I'm from a family of German & Italian artisans.  I was classically trained with a B.F.A. from Hartford Art School in photography & sculpture. For nearly three years, I assisted world-renown sculptor Howard BenTre in Rhodes Island, fabricating sculpture work & installing shows throughout New England, predominately in prestigious galleries in the SoHo's art district, NYC.  After that, I decided to work with a well established commercial photographer Jim Egan for three years assisting his studio & location shoots, most jobs were corporate accounts. 

It was in Rhodes Island I completed my first large body of sculpture work & began exhibiting at galleries throughout New England.  On the side, I started my own photography business specializing in portraits, corporate promos & student art portfolios at Brown University & Rhode Island School of Design (RISD). 

From 1996-2003, health challenges captured my attention & altered my core interest & focus.  As a result, I became a Dr. Bernard Jensen certified Iridologist, wholistic practitioner & clinical nutritionist out of a need to remedy some serious chronic health challenges that standard HMO's were unable to fundamentally understand or remedy.  After a successful turnaround, I decided to take a break from the art-craftsman scene & commit a heartfelt business toward helping people become more healthy & remedy issues the medical machine would be incapable of addressing.  

I primarily utilized Iridology, nutrition, detoxification & raw foods to help many clients nationwide.  The practice was strong & the community support was extensive.  I was often a guest speaker & presenter at major health expos such as New Life, Whole Life, Harmony Festival, Body-Mind-Spirit, Body-Mind-Soul . . . from major cities from San Fransisco to New York. 

Presently learned to adapt with the ever changing economic environment & a remain diversified man available for whatever challenges arise.  Some wonder how an experienced craftsman can be a skilled photographer, or how either may be a useful alternative wholistic health practitioner.  Truth is I like the diverse social opportunities, challenge & interactions that result.
